Backyardigans Live! The Tale of the Mighty Knight
Nick Jr’s preschool show The Backyardigans has a live theatre production touring the US, and when we found out it would be coming to South Bend, my mom and I knew we had to take the kids to see it. It was a great way to introduce them to the theatre in a family-friendly, not too worried if my kids sing along, kind of way. They enjoyed the show a lot, sat nicely in their seats (except when invited to raise their shields along with the Mighty Knights), and asked a lot of questions about the techinical aspects of live theatre. Maggie, who thankfully went for free, danced along for the first half and slept through the second. All in all, it was a great afternoon.
